Tús iontach do Sheachtain na Gaeilge. Tá balla focal CNS againn, déanta suas lena bhfocail Gaeilge is fearr linn. D’itheamar pancóga álainn ar an Máirt. Inniu bhí an-spraoi againn ag curdaigh na focail go léir sa chlós lenár buddies. Ag deireadh an lae inniu ghlac rang a Trí agus rang a Ceathair páirt i dTráth na gCeist.

The Elves and the Shoemaker

4th Class have been very busy working on a special project! They did a beautiful piece of artwork based on the story of ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker’.
Here are some of them leaving school with the finished product.

Here it is on display in John’s shop in the village. It is hanging under the counter for everyone to see. The shoemaker is delighted and has invited everyone to pop in and take a look…

Féile Fichille

8 students were chosen to represent C.N.S. at the Féile Fichille chess tournament on Friday 7th February. They had a great time and everyone won a few of their games.
