The PA organised the lovely 6th Class hoodies. They were so delighted to receive them today 😃

Junior Einsteins Science Club

The PA organised for Junior Einsteins to visit CNS as part of Science Week. All the pupils in CNS really enjoyed the fantastic visit. They were so lucky to get the opportunity to see many different experiments in action and some lucky pupils even got the opportunity to participate in certain experiments.

CNS Movie Night

Our Movie Night took place on 22nd October. It was fantastic to see so many of our CNS families coming together again for this event. We’ve really missed being able to have our Movie Night for the last 2 years!

We also had our first annual Halloween costume drive. This was a wonderful addition to Movie Night. Thank you to everyone who donated and purchased costumes.

The children had a wonderful night – lots of fun all round!

PA ‘Tea and Tissues’ Coffee Morning

It was brilliant to be able to host this annual event again this year, after a break of a few years! It was well supported by parents, and there was a great buzz! Lovely way to kick-start the year.

6th Class Graduation

A big thank you to the PA for making the 6th class Graduation such a memorable one, it meant so much to all the children and the parents of 6th class. Even though we couldn’t celebrate like we usually do, due to Covid, we started new traditions and had a wonderful night.

 “300th Anniversary” Aerial Photo

Ice Cream Fun Day!

There was great excitement in CNS yesterday, because we had a visit from the ice cream van. The children got to enjoy their ice cream or slushie outside under the sun, listening to wonderful music and dancing with our wonderful PA dance team 🙂

Cycle for CNS’ Friday Update 

1st Place: Yellow Team (276km) 
2nd Place: Blue Team (271km)

Due to the huge distance that was cycled, the teams managed to cycle through Ms Culbert’s hometown of Waterford and managed to reach Ms Deane’s hometown of Cork 🙂

It was another absolutely amazing day in CNS! Not only did we have all our amazing parents cycling today, but we also had all our super CNS teachers cycling for their teams. Even our wonderful Ms. Moloney had a go 🙂 .6th class then took to the bikes, the winners from 6th class will be announced at assembly tomorrow. (See the 6th class page for all their amazing pictures)

Another exciting day in CNS, the bad weather didn’t affect the good mood and it definitely  didn’t stop our cyclist. The competition is really heating up now, as the children cheer from the side lines.

PA Art Competition

The PA held an Art Competition for Easter. Everyone used their artwork to decorate their home and sent in a photograph of it via email. There was an overall family prize and prizes for individuals. You can see from the winners that we have many artistic and creative pupils in CNS. There were over 70 entries!
